Safety Training for Journalists: Lviv, December 3–4

Practical first aid skills in critical situations—before medical professionals arrive.
Registration is open until November 15.

During the war, media professionals face risks every day: they travel to sites of attacks, document the consequences of shelling, and work in frontline areas. In such conditions, it is essential to have not only a camera or a recorder, but also the knowledge that helps you act in emergencies. First aid training is a way to prepare for the worst and remain in control when every second counts.

The Association of Independent Regional Press Publishers of Ukraine (AIRPPU) continues its systematic work to support journalists’ safety. We have resumed insurance opportunities for media teams within the framework of the International Insurance Fund for Journalists (IIFJ).

You can apply here.

We also regularly organize specialized training sessions to help media workers better navigate extreme conditions, provide first aid, and stay calm in critical moments. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, more than ten such trainings have already been held.

The next training will take place on December 3–4 in Lviv.

You can register HERE.
